Hajime Tsujioka; SiMS student won the Best Presentation Award at Interdisciplinary
For the sixth time, the Interdisciplinary Workshop was held on October 21 on the Nakamozu Campus of Osaka Prefecture University. The Interdisciplinary Workshop is an event held by the Interdisciplinary Research Group mainly consisting of doctoral students of the university presenting/introducing overviews, techniques, technology, and the daily life of each of the research labs and the original methods of students interactively in a poster format. Going beyond the boundaries between laboratories, it offers a place for students majoring in different fields to interact.
This year, 18 groups of students put out stands, and after presenting the individual research results to visitors, every visitor voted on a winner. As a result, Hajime Tsujioka of the Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka City University, won the “Best Presentation Award.” Mr. Tsujioka is a student of the first-term SiMS program, and there were four other students that put out stands from the same program.
The Interdisciplinary Research Group, the organizer, holds various other events, and provides venues for widening the view from one’s own field of specialty.
