“Special Seminar for Global Communication” by Prof. Southern (July 5, 2014)

The “Special Seminar for Global Communication” class is conducted from the first to fourth periods every Saturday. This training is designed for students to improve their English communication ability, develop a global perspective, and acquire basic knowledge and skills necessary for success when working in a different environment (language, culture, etc.).

On July 5 (Sat.), a seminar and group work was conducted by Prof. Nancy Southern from Saybrook University, U.S. The seminar “Developing Leaders for Organizational Transformation” was held in the morning, in which students learned what is required for becoming a leader of organizational innovation and what roles such a leader should play. In the afternoon, students, divided into four groups, conducted discussions on the topic given to each group, and made an oral presentation of group work results.
